Built in Los Cabos.
Focused on Baja businesses.

I’m Javier Rangel, founder of Baja AI Labs. I build practical websites and AI for owners who serve local customers and visitors, in English and Spanish.

The starting point is your business: what your customers need, how your team works, and what you want to improve. We turn that into a clear plan and tools you can use.

WHO WE HELP

Built around how Baja businesses work.

We are a good fit for businesses where clear information, timely answers, and an easy next step shape the customer’s decision.

Hospitality & vacation rentals

Guest questions, direct inquiries, property information, and bilingual service.

Tours, activities & experiences

Clear choices, seasonal details, availability questions, and easier paths to book.

Restaurants & local services

Mobile-first information, local search visibility, and faster customer follow-up.

Real estate & property management

Organized listings, lead capture, owner communication, and connected workflows.

A website built around
your part of Baja.

Across the Baja peninsula, businesses serve local communities, visiting travelers, and customers on both sides of the border. Your website should reflect your market and the customers you want to reach.

Two languages. Different questions.

A visitor planning a trip and a local looking for a reliable service may need different information. We make room for both, without making your site harder to use.

A busy season deserves a ready website.

Seasonal offers, changing hours, booking questions, and demand peaks belong in the plan. Prepare the site and the follow-up process before things get busy.

The next step is often a conversation.

A useful answer or a straightforward booking path can matter more than another page of marketing. We design around the action your customers actually take.

TRY WHAT WE BUILD

Start with a real conversation.

The Baja AI Assistant is a working example of a business-trained assistant. Tell it about your current setup, explore what you are trying to improve, and ask to speak with Javier when you are ready.

SELECTED WORK

Evidence of how we think and build.

These are real engagements and internal development work. We describe our contribution without inventing results or exposing private client details.

Online golf store

Situation
The work began with an online store and its customer experience.
Opportunity
We identified an additional need: tournament information was scattered and difficult to act on.
Our contribution
We developed a tournament-page prototype that brought dates, venues, formats, costs, and registration information together.

Property-management website

Situation
The business needed its website and day-to-day property information to work together more effectively.
Opportunity
Useful information already existed across hospitality and social channels, but was difficult to reuse consistently.
Our contribution
We created specialized tools that work with Airbnb and Instagram information for the property-management business.

Activities website

Situation
An existing activities site needed more than a visual refresh.
Opportunity
The website had to be evaluated as part of the customer journey and the way the business operates.
Our contribution
We completed an extensive review and advised on improvements across the site, content, and experience.

Travel data application

Situation
Destination information needed a structured and dependable internal home.
Opportunity
Imports, review, approval, and administration required a purpose-built workflow rather than another marketing page.
Our contribution
We developed a custom backend, structured database, validation process, approval workflow, and protected administrative tools.

How we work

Listen first

We talk about your business, customers, current website, and the work that takes too much of your time. Bring a detailed plan or just the problem you want solved.

Make a practical plan

We define the priorities, scope, content, tools, and responsibilities. You know what we are building, what it depends on, and what is outside the project.

Build it together

Design and content take shape around real customer decisions. We share progress, gather focused feedback, and connect the tools that are part of the agreed scope.

Launch with clarity

We check the key journeys and hand over what you need to understand your site. If ongoing care makes sense, we agree on the arrangement before the next update is needed.

FAQ

How much does a website cost?

Our starter website begins at $500 USD, plus $50 USD per month for hosting and care. It is designed for a focused small-business site of up to five pages, with fully mobile-compatible design, complete English and Spanish copy, a contact or WhatsApp path, basic on-page SEO, secure hosting, routine care, and one revision round. Advanced AI, custom applications, integrations, and larger redesigns are scoped after a conversation.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on the size of the project, content readiness, feedback, and any integrations. We agree on milestones and a realistic schedule after defining the scope. If you have a seasonal launch date, bring it into the first conversation.

Can we start with English and add Spanish later?

Yes. We can plan the structure for both languages while launching English first. Spanish content can then be added deliberately, with the same attention to clarity and the customer journey.

Can an AI assistant take bookings?

It can help with booking questions and guide customers to the right next step. Confirming real bookings requires a supported connection to your booking system and reliable availability data. We agree on those boundaries before launch.

Will you work with my existing tools?

Where practical, yes. We review your current website, booking platform, calendar, CRM, and inbox first. Integration possibilities depend on each tool’s access, supported connections, and subscription.
